The frustration
As a filmmaker and tradition bearer, Daniel Zürcher wanted to finance a documentary. Instead of being behind the camera, he spent weeks at a desk: foundation websites, guidelines – and often a hidden exclusion clause.

The gap
Existing platforms were expensive, built for large organisations and full of jargon. For single projects or associations with one or two applications a year, there was no simple, affordable offer.

The expertise
Daniel completed a university education as a certified fundraiser to understand the Swiss foundation market from the inside.
